Chickpea Ghrita Salad

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked chickpeas (canned or boiled)
  • 2 tablespoons Thapovana Ghrita
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • Zest and juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

 Instructions:

  1. Prepare Chickpeas:
  2. If using canned chickpeas, drain and rinse them. If using dried chickpeas, cook and cool them.
  3. Make the Dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together Thapovana Ghrita, dried oregano, dried parsley, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  4. Combine Ingredients: In a large salad bowl, combine the chickpeas and the dressing. Toss gently to coat the chickpeas evenly.
  5. Garnish and Chill: Garnish the salad with fresh parsley. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
  6. Serve: Serve the Chickpea Ghrita Salad as a protein-packed and refreshing snack.
